Blind-shot and distance-zone awareness with clear red-beacon warning logic.
SafeTee™
Golf Safety & Operations Platform
Improve safety, pace of play, and course visibility through real-time GPS tracking, intelligent alerts, and actionable analytics.
SafeTee™ gives golf course operators real-time visibility across the course, helping staff identify safety concerns, monitor pace of play, support ranger operations, and review historical round data through one connected platform.
Safety
Safer tee-box decisions for blind shots and distance zones.
SafeTee™ is designed to help golf course operators reduce unsafe hitting decisions by providing clear red-beacon warning logic when a group ahead is hidden, protected, or still within a defined hitting zone.
Warn players when the group ahead is hidden beyond a hill or blind zone.
Blind-shot holes create risk because players at the tee box cannot always see whether the group ahead has cleared the protected area. SafeTee uses protected-zone logic to activate a red beacon when the blind zone is occupied.
- Detects occupied blind-shot areas
- Activates a red tee-box warning beacon
- Helps golfers hold play before hitting
- Supports safer decisions without relying on guesswork
Conceptual workflow visual showing blind-shot warning logic.
Conceptual distance-zone visual showing when the group ahead is still within a protected range.
Show when the group ahead is still too close to safely hit.
Not every safety concern is a blind shot. On long holes, SafeTee can also support distance-based safety zones that help indicate whether the group ahead is still inside a potential hitting range or has moved beyond the defined distance zone.
- Supports protected range awareness from the tee box
- Helps reduce risky shots into the group ahead
- Uses the red beacon as a simple visual decision point
- Designed to improve both safety confidence and course flow
- Helps keep pace of play moving by showing golfers the appropriate and safe time to hit without waiting longer than needed.
100% wireless red beacon system with solar power and battery backup.
The SafeTee™ red beacon is designed for golf course deployment without hardwired electrical service at the tee box. Solar power, battery backup, and wireless communication help avoid trenching, boring, and disruptive course work.
- No hardwired electrical required at the beacon location
- No boring or trenching across fairways, cart paths, or landscaped areas
- Helps reduce installation disruption and potential course damage
- Can be removed and relocated if the course layout or safety need changes
Whether the risk comes from a blind hill or a group still within range, SafeTee helps provide clearer decision support before the shot is taken.

SafeTee™ is the connected visibility platform behind safer, faster course operations.
SafeTee connects GPS trackers, LoRaWAN communication, red-beacon safety alerts, ranger visibility, playback review, and operational analytics into one course-wide system built for golf course owners, managers, operators, and staff.
It started with blind-shot safety. The platform now supports the bigger operational problem: knowing where groups are, when safety risk exists, where pace is breaking down, and what staff should do next.
Groups, carts, or players provide real-time GPS movement data.
Long-range wireless communication moves tracker data without individual tracker data plans.
Live maps, pace status, protected zones, ranger tools, and playback review turn raw location into useful information.
Operators can support pace, dispatch staff, review issues, and trigger visual safety guidance where needed.
Real-time pace visibility so staff can identify slowdowns before they spread.
Ranger and clubhouse visibility across the course from one connected view.
Playback and historical review to understand where delays and safety events happen.
SafeTee Platform™
The central system that connects safety alerts, pace monitoring, ranger visibility, tracker data, playback review, and course-level analytics.
SafeTee Tracker™
GPS tracking devices assigned to groups, carts, or players so course staff can see live location and movement across the property.
SafeTee Beacon™
Wireless red-light warning hardware for blind shots, protected areas, and distance zones where players need a simple visual hold signal.
SafeTee Ranger™
A live operations view that helps staff understand which groups need attention and where ranger support should be sent.
SafeTee Analytics™
Playback, reports, and historical pace review that help management evaluate course flow, recurring bottlenecks, and operational performance.
LoRaWAN Course Network
Long-range wireless communication designed for golf course environments and scalable tracker deployment without a cellular plan on every tracker.
Built for Operators
Not just a warning light. Not just a map. One platform for course visibility.
SafeTee gives management and staff the visibility needed to protect players, support pace of play, make better ranger decisions, and review what actually happened after the round.

- Shows live group location and pace status
- Helps staff respond before delays compound
- Reviews completed rounds through playback and analytics
- Reduces reliance on individual cellular tracker subscriptions
Pace-of-Play Visibility
Manage pace of play with real-time course visibility.
SafeTee tracks group movement across the course and displays pace status visually, helping staff identify slowdowns, support ranger decisions, and keep rounds moving.

Benefits
Turn better course visibility into better business performance.
SafeTee™ is designed for golf course owners, managers, and operators who want safety, pace-of-play visibility, better staff awareness, and stronger revenue opportunity from one connected course technology platform.
Better Pace Supports More Play
Improved pace-of-play visibility helps staff identify delays earlier, support smoother course flow, and reduce backup points that can limit tee sheet performance.
Better Experience Supports Repeat Business
Golfers are more likely to return when rounds feel organized, safe, and well managed. SafeTee helps courses improve the experience without relying only on manual observation.
More Merchandise and Food/Beverage Opportunity
Better course flow can help golfers finish with a better impression and more time to stay on property, supporting added spending in the pro shop, restaurant, bar, and clubhouse.
Smarter Staff Deployment
SafeTee helps rangers and course staff see where attention is needed, allowing them to respond with better information instead of guessing where problems are developing.
Lower Tracker Operating Cost
SafeTee uses a LoRaWAN-based course network, meaning each tracker does not need its own cellular data plan. That helps reduce recurring operating costs compared with systems that depend on individual tracker subscriptions.
Better Operational Decisions
Playback, reports, and historical pace data help management understand where delays occur, which holes create problems, and how course operations can be improved over time.
LoRaWAN Advantage
No individual tracker data plans.
SafeTee is built around a course-wide wireless network instead of requiring every tracker to carry its own cellular subscription. That matters to owners because recurring technology costs can add up quickly across a full fleet of carts or player trackers.
- No per-tracker cellular data plan
- Course-wide wireless communication
- Designed for lower recurring operating cost
- Supports scalable deployment across the course
SafeTee is not just a safety feature. It is an operations and revenue-support platform designed to help golf courses improve flow, protect the player experience, reduce avoidable operating costs, and make better business decisions.
Request a DemoAbout Alder Tree Solutions LLC
Built by a golfer who understands the game from the course level.
Alder Tree Solutions LLC is the parent company behind SafeTee™. SafeTee was built from real time spent around golf, not from a conference-room theory. It started with a question every golfer has asked at some point: is it safe to tee up and hit?
Many times, I have played courses where a blind shot made it impossible to see over a hill, around a corner, onto an elevated green from the fairway, or into a landing area. We knew golfers were somewhere up ahead, but we could not always tell if they had cleared. So we would look at each other and ask: do you think it is safe to hit?
That same question also comes up on long par 4s and par 5s. Even when the group ahead is visible, you still have to judge whether they are far enough away. If I tee up and hit, am I going to hit into them? Should we wait? Are they safely out of range, or are we just hoping they are far enough away?
That is where the name SafeTee came from: is it safe to tee up the ball and hit? The system began as a red-light safety beacon concept for blind-shot holes, but it grew into a course visibility platform that helps golfers and course staff rely less on guesswork.
SafeTee is built to give golf course operators better visibility, help golfers make safer tee-box decisions, support pace of play, and improve the way a course moves from tee to green.
